Aviation Electronics Technician

The Aviation Electronics Technician maintains, diagnoses and repairs complex electrical and electronic equipment supporting critical aircraft systems.

  • Troubleshoots digital computers radar infrared detection laser electronics fiber optics
  • Maintains aircraft power generation distribution systems test calibrates instruments flight control systems performs micro-miniature circuit card repairs installs upgrades modifications to electronic systems operates diagnostic equipment interprets wiring diagrams schematics
