What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Material Handler position at U.S. Lumber Group?
We are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Material Handler, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, to join our VALUES based organization. The majority of duties at this facility is protected from elements, under cover, or in enclosures. In this role you will focus on:
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Combilift, forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete
assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders
and transporting material. - Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct
location and organized, swept floors. - Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
- Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products
- Accurately pull daily orders.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy - be able to stand and work on your feet throughout shift as normal routine
- Identify and read tickets, SKU’s, UPC labels and reports
