What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Landscape Account Manager position at U.S. Lawns?
I'm looking for an Account Manager who understands something that sounds simple—but really isn't:
Not every customer wants to be managed the same way. One property manager wants regular communication, property walks and updates. Another is incredibly busy and simply wants to know that you'll show up, see what needs attention and take care of it before they ever have to call. Great Account Managers learn the difference.
U.S. Lawns of Brevard County, is a locally owned commercial landscape operation serving customers throughout Florida's Space Coast. The business has approximately 115 employees and is approaching $10M in annual revenue, with a substantial portfolio of HOA, multifamily and other commercial properties.
We're looking for someone who can comfortably move between the customer, the property and the crew.
You'll manage a portfolio of commercial landscape accounts, build client relationships, inspect properties, direct field execution, manage labor and profitability, solve problems, develop enhancement opportunities and make sure customers receive the level of service their particular property requires.
The strongest candidate will bring 3–5 years of commercial landscape maintenance or related property operations experience, solid horticultural and irrigation knowledge, experience leading field teams, and enough business sense to understand that customer satisfaction and account profitability have to coexist.
Compensation: Base Salary 5–15% performance bonus opportunity, take-home company vehicle, phone, computer, medical/dental/vision, PTO and 401(k) with company match.
