What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane/Lift Operator-Intermodal position at U.S. Intermodal, Inc.?
Us Intermodal is a contractor for the railroad and is looking for motivated individuals who take initiative in the workplace. The Intermodal Lift Operator/Groundman position consists of being responsible for preparing the railcars for loading/unloading by removing and installing IBC locks to connect the containers together on the railcar and operating a side loaded traveling crane to lift and move containers/trailers on/off rail cars. Crane operating experience (6-12mos) is required and prior terminal experience is a plus, but we will train. Intermodal experience is a plus.
