GPO’s mission is to keep America Informed as the official, digital, and secure source for producing, preserving, and distributing official Federal Government publications and information products for Congress, Federal agencies, and the American public. As a Custodial Worker at our state-of-the-art facility in Washington, DC, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing other agencies with innovative services for the printing, publishing, storage, and distribution of digital content.
Responsibilities included:
- Perform industrial cleaning of restrooms, offices, storerooms, corridors, stairways and other assigned areas.
- Perform setups for meetings, such as moving furniture, tables, chairs, pipes, drapes, etc.
- Use tools and equipment for cleaning around buildings and parking lots, to include snow removal and cleaning and grass cutting, etc.
- Use tools and lightweight cleaning equipment to perform custodial duties.
- Maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
