What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Airline Customer Service and Ramp Agent position at U.S.G.S., INC?
Job Summary
Airline service provider looking for part time candidates interested in performing both customer service AND ramp duties at the Wilmington International Airport. Starting pay is $15/hr with approximately 15-25 hours per week. (possible full time in the future)
The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license with dependable transportation. Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs and have the capability to engage in physical exertion for short periods of times outside in the elements. Must be willing to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays. Shift times vary. Must be flexible in case of flight delays. Looking for candidates who are willing to work ramp AND customer service.
Ramp duties include: Not all inclusive.
-loading and unloading bags onto and off of a commercial aircraft as well as operating ground equipment such as tugs and belt loaders, etc.
-This position also requires working outside in the elements.
Customer Service duties include: Not all inclusive
-checking in passengers at the ticket counter and assisting passengers with delayed or lost luggage.
-Gate duties include enplaning and deplaning passengers, making gate announcements, sometimes assisting passengers with disabilities on/off the aircraft. Not all inclusive.
Candidates must be able to pass an intensive background check, a pre-employment drug test and be authorized to work in the US. Must have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation. No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided. Serious inquiries only..
