- Clean and inspect incoming rental equipment for damages
- Communicate with supervisor regarding any damaged equipment
- Calibrate, prepare, and perform diagnostics on all equipment prior to rental
- Assign appropriate equipment to rental orders
- Quality check orders for completeness and accuracy
- Package per manufacturers' specifications, including printing packing lists and calibration reports as needed
- Provide technical support and training to clients via telephone, email, and in person
- Cross-train with all environmental departments, water & air quality, soil, survey, and telemetry
- Package, label, and ship necessary orders via FedEx Ship Manager software for daily FedEx pickups
- The primary role of this position is to prepare equipment for rental orders and all FedEx shipping responsibilities, although it may occasionally be necessary for the technician to deliver rented and/or sold equipment to our clients.
- The secondary role of this position is to be a back-up delivery driver in a company Pick-Up truck.
- High School diploma or GED, Bachelor of Science preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 40 plus pounds
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record, (MVR/Abstract)
- Experience with small electronics and/or environmental technology
- Enthusiasm to learn about environmental equipment and its application
