Wiedenbach Brown, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lighting Estimator to join our team!
Job Type: Full-time; Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings
- Produce accurate and timely lighting fixture and controls take-offs
- Identify discrepancies in specifications and drawings with design team
- Request pricing and lead times through manufacturers and sales reps
- Produce comprehensive and timely lighting proposals
- Upon project award, produce timely submittal packages
- Review submittal approvals and update quotes accordingly
- Review lighting changes within drawing bulletins/addendums and update quotes accordingly
- Collaborate with Sales team on all proposals
- Collaborate with Project Management team throughout order release
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- 2-5 years of experience in Lighting Estimating
- Experience in reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents
- Experience with Bluebeam software (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent quantitative and analytical math skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive customer service skills
