Job Summary:
U.S. Electrical Services Inc. is searching for a Shift Warehouse Associate to join our Inventory Control team in our Middletown, CT Distribution Center. This position will report to the Inventory Control Supervisor and be responsible for the following:
- Receive certifications to operate Reach truck, forklift, cherry picker and electric pallet jack
- Replenish product in main building using RF gun location moves
- Pull overstock pallets for pickers when orders require a full pallet quantity
- Pull forward all pallets in double deep locations to ensure safety
- Remove all shrink wrap from pallets when being placed in main building locations
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Help in other departments when needed
- Organize stock and maintain Inventory
Required Skills:
- Previous experience with warehouse equipment and tools
- Previous experience with RF Scanners will be considered an advantage
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage (specifically order pickers, reach trucks, fork trucks and electrical pallet jacks)
- Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
- Team player
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem solver
- Dependable with a flexible work schedule
