Monarch Electric, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inventory Control Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Kearny, NJ location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replenishing primary pick locations for material from overstock locations
- Conducting cycle counts accurately through an RF gun as well as additional counts per the Inventory Control Supervisor including pipe and wire counts
- Assist in moving product throughout the warehouse to the best pick position using a heatmap and set mins and max’s to trigger replenishment tasks
- Various inventory projects throughout the warehouse
- Help resolve variance and inventory issues
- Work with other departments on inventory storage and discrepancy resolutions
- Annual physical inventory preparations and execution including prepping shelves, bin consolidations and audits
- Identify and dispose of damaged material properly
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Must know how to drive warehouse machinery
- Good communication both written and verbally
- Ability to multi-task while having exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and math skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
