What are the responsibilities and job description for the Divisional Head position at U.S. Economic Development Administration?

This is a full-time on-site role for a Division Head at EDA HQ in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for consistent implementation of strategic direction and programmatic priorities across EDA programs, and responsibilities include supervision, monitoring of program performance using data analytics, identifying problems, funding research, national technical assistance and program tools, implementing corrective actions, and developing/ executing long-term plans, policies, and regulations to achieve mission goals.
Qualifications
You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience:
Developing program guidance, establishing goals, and evaluating program performance to improve efficiency and effectiveness and align with Administration priorities and agency objectives; AND
Providing senior-level advisory support to executive leadership on complex policy, program, and/or resource management issues impacting agency-wide operations; AND
Leading coordination of initiatives and high-level projects that have impact across multiple offices, including executive-level agency buy-in, in support of organizational objectives; AND
Demonstrated experience briefing agency leadership on proposals that resulted in organization-wide implementations; AND
Providing direct supervision, oversight, and direction of employees.
