The duty and responsibility of the Process Coordinator is to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The admin job scope includes communicating via phone and email to ensure that all process coordinator duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answers and directs phone calls
- Organizes and schedules meetings and appointments
- Data Entry
- Maintains contact lists
- Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develops and maintains a filing system
- Orders and maintains breakroom and office supplies
- Books travel arrangements
- Submits and reconciles expense reports
- Greets and provides general support to visitors
- Organize office lunches
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.
- Provide direct administrative, clerical or other support for providers, as necessary or requested

SECTION 1: Job Summary (Summary of the basic functions of the position)
The EMR Coordinator supports the pathology lab by performing duties required to maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Laboratory Information System (LIS).
SECTION 2: Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities necessary to accomplish job functions)
• Electronic Medical Record Duties:
o Assist with setting up new client interfaces
o Maintain client interfaces
o Resolve technical issues with EMR and LIS working with internal and external customers
o Conduct necessary updates, testing process and propose solutions or improvements
o Liaison for multiple computer-based systems utilized in pathology lab and clinics (LIS, billing, EMR, etc)
o Assist with billing charges, CPT codes, MIPS, client direct billing, and patient billing
o Understand the duties of Medical Transcription and assist needed
o Complete special projects when required
• Customer Service:
o Answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and faxes
o Coordinate and collaborate with system vendors, lab personnel, and clients when needed
o Respond professionally to the needs of internal and external customers in timely manner
• Quality Assurance:
o Reporting Melanoma Tumor Registry and other cancer registry
o Maintains daily, monthly, annual monitoring of various electronic systems with appropriate documentation
o Follows all policies and procedures of the organization
• General Safety, Chemical Hygiene and Biohazard Procedures: Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.
