The MediSpa Assistant position is primarily responsible for assisting in examination and treatment of
patients under direction of MediSpa providers by performing the following duties:

- Interviews patients to collect medical history
- Prepares treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures.
- Assists with patient education on skin care to reinforce the physicians’ therapy regimen, enhance patient confidence, and assist in patient compliance.
- Responsible for rooming patients and cleaning/turning over treatment rooms.
- Maintains clean, safe, and well-stocked rooms for patient exams and surgeries.
- Keys data into computer to maintain office and patient records.
- Educates patients by providing educational pamphlets, verbal and/or written care instructions, and answering patient questions
- Conducts follow-up calls with patients as requested by CMLTs or physicians.
- Reports any adverse patient reactions immediately to CMLTs or physicians.
- Responsible for taking before-and-after photos to document treatment effectiveness.
- Assists in maintaining stock in MediSpa rooms
- Responsible for daily laundry, and unpacking of office and medical supplies.
- Maintains daily and monthly equipment logs, and reports defects to the designated person.
- Opens/closes Body as scheduled, and checks patients in/out.
- Collects payment from patients and reconciles daily receipts when scheduled at Body.
- Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Participates in community service, pro bono events, and Open Houses, as requested by physicians.
- Attends staff meetings and trainings.
