Duties
- The staff Hematologist/Oncologist Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for - but not limited to the following duties: Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
- as well as provide feedback and consultation with the other services within the Hudson Valley Health Care System
- The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate - triage - and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers and others for outpatient hematology/oncology subspecialty consultations
- They will obtain medical histories - conduct physical examinations - order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing - and plan and prescribe treatment for patients
- The Hematologist/Oncologist will coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other medical personnel in a multidisciplinary health care delivery system
- The Hematologist/Oncologist will perform administrative tasks as assigned - such as peer reviews and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE)
- Provide Hematology/Oncology on-call services as assigned
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Salary : $127,425 - $188,605
