- VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards NOTE: This recruitment will result in the hiring of one of the following disciplines: Physician or Nurse Practitioner To apply to the Physician recruitment use the following link: CBTD-12933222-26-DF Major duties and responsibilities of the position: Independently manage a panel of patients with both acute and chronic neurological conditions - emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention through evidence-based practices Develop and implement individualized care plans to optimize population health and chronic disease management Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment interventions in accordance with VA protocols Initiate referrals and consults to neurology subspecialties and other relevant services as needed Demonstrate leadership and collaborate actively with interdisciplinary neurology care teams Provide patient and family education on diagnosis - treatment options - self-management - and lifestyle adjustments Continuously assess and adjust care plans based on patient response to improve outcomes Pay: Competitive salary - regular salary increases - potential for performance awards Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave - 13 days of sick leave - 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory Work Schedule: Full Time

Salary : $120,840 - $175,177
