What are the responsibilities and job description for the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST position at U.S. Department of Defense (DOD)?
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Industrial Support Department of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) experience analyzing integrated logistics support (ILS) planning to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics program operations, 2) experience identifying the specific requirements for government furnished material and government property control on board ships and correlating those requirements with the program plans to ensure that the needed support is provided; 3) experience performing ILS on shipboard equipment in the outfitting/fitting-out of new construction/conversion and overhaul of ship phase in order to allow for effective delivery of required materials, and 4) experience leading the completion of ILS tasks to ensure priorities and deadlines are set and met in accordance with program needs.

One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
GS-11 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
