This is a full-time, on-site Construction Safety Technician role based in Fargo, ND. The Construction Safety Technician will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and providing on-site safety training. The role also involves identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, supporting incident investigations, maintaining compliance-related documentation, and continuously improving safety standards. The role requires collaboration with project teams to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements
- Strong skills in conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions
- Proficiency in delivering safety training sessions and fostering a safety-conscious workforce
- Ability to manage compliance documentation and reporting for local, state, and federal requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
- Familiarity with construction environments and related safety practices is highly desirable
- Degree or certification in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
- Professional safety certifications such as OSHA 30/510 or equivalent are a plus
