OVERVIEW
The Software & Database Intern will support the MIS/IT team by assisting with internal software development, database management, and research into Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications that can enhance organizational efficiency and operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to both enterprise technology and emerging AI solutions in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal applications using .NET and SQL Server.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports.
• Participate in researching and testing AI/ML models for automation, data processing, and operational support.
• Propose and demo AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency in data management and services.
• Document workflows, testing results, and solution proposals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Knowledge of .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, or similar).
• Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimization).
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications.
• Logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn quickly.
