Duties

- Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up visits to ensure complete coverage of assigned areas.
- Engage with community members using excellent communication skills, explaining the purpose of the census and addressing questions or concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, visits, and data collection activities to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet outreach goals and improve field operations.
- Represent the Census Bureau professionally at all times, demonstrating integrity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate team efforts effectively.
- Strong marketing and customer service skills to engage diverse populations positively.
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing, sales, telemarketing or fundraising is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with non-English speaking community members.
