In this internship, you will have the opportunity to:
- The Finance Internship will providethe opportunity to participate in overall financial planning, reporting and strategic long range forecast process as well as assist in driving business performance improvements.
- Assist senior level analyst(s) with monthly and quarterly finance reporting (e.g. Monthly Controllers Report, Board Book, Revenue Dashboard), including 1) update financial results and 2) assist in developing financial insights and analyses.
- Support monthly forecast and annual budget processes by assisting Senior level analysts in identifying trends to key business drivers, updating forecasts and supporting related reporting.
- Participate in the Strategic Long Range Forecast process.
- Shadow senior financial analysts in key deliverable meetings / presentation.
- Participate in B2B special pricing analysis.
- Perform Ad-Hoc analysis of financial information to inform improvement actions.
- Complete other special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.
Requirements:
- Actively attending a 4-year college or university and working towards abachelor's or master's/MBA Degree
- Strong communications skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to participate and work well in teams
- Possess an attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Junior or Senior standing
- Basic understanding of fundamental accounting principles, practices and procedures, and financial concepts.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills coupled with problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
