Service Commitment

Candidates must commit to a minimum service term of either: Active Duty: 3 years of full-time service, or the Army Reserve: 6 years of part-time service.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 17 and 40 years of age (17-year-olds require parental consent).

Academic Requirements

A high school Diploma or GED is required

Aptitude Testing

Candidates must successfully sit for and achieve a qualifying score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).

Medical & Legal Standards

Applicants must have no disqualifying medical conditions or major law violations

Wavier Process

Exceptions and waivers may be submitted and reviewed on an individual basis for qualified applicants with minor medical or legal history.

Key Responsibilities

As an enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army, your primary responsibility is to maintain operational readiness and support national defense missions

After completing basic and advanced training, your core duties will include:

Training & Preparation

Participate in rigorous physical conditioning, tactical exercises, and continuous classroom and field-based instruction to maintain peak mission readiness.

Operational Support

Assist in executing military, humanitarian, disaster relief, or security operations as directed by command leadership.

Equipment & Technology

Learn to operate, maintain, and properly care for specialized military equipment, vehicles, and technology

Teamwork & Discipline

Work cohesively within a structured team (squad or platoon) to accomplish objectives safely and efficiently

Leadership Development

Follow orders from noncommissioned and commissioned officers, with the expectation to take on leadership roles as you progress in rank
