92G – Culinary Specialist

This role involves preparing and serving meals in both routine and fast-paced environments while helping maintain food quality, kitchen safety, and efficient operations. You would cook and assist with meal preparation, inspect and manage food supplies, support ordering and inventory needs, and keep kitchen and food service areas clean and sanitary. The job builds practical experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, sanitation, inventory control, teamwork, time management, and customer-focused service.

This job requires military service with a contract for enlistment or commission. This is not an application to a specific position within the military. This job is only an example of a position that you could be placed in after taking a job placement exam.

Enlistment entails that you speak to a recruiter, take a job placement exam, complete a physical exam, choose from the career options that are presented to you, sign a career contract of 2-6 years, and take the oath of enlistment and attend bootcamp.

Requirements:

• Be between 17 and 42 years old
• Be medically and physically fit
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
