Duties
Help
- Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance.
- Works in executing recreation events, programs and services to meet the recreational needs of a diverse patronage, including a variety of multi disciplinary events, i.e., social activities, tournaments and other major programs.
- Recommends items of supplies, materials, prizes, decorations, refreshments, and equipment needed for program functions.
- Assists with training new personnel.
- Assists with other recreation programs in the Recreation Center as needed.

- Work schedule will be irregular, and the incumbent will be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or unique events.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess The Following
- knowledge of a wide range of recreation and sports activities organization and structure of military units and installation sports program objectives, policies, methods and procedures to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, assist, guide and motivate military staff in carrying out their responsibilities, AND
- a basic understanding of budget and supply functions in order to prepare input and justification of funding of supplies and equipment, AND
- the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (English), AND
- work experience or education directly relating to the duties to be performed.
