Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Maintaining accurate accounting and reporting systems for non-expendable property; Developing new methods of improving existing logistics operations; and Leveraging automated systems including Automated Logistics Systems such as Financial Accounting Corporate Tracking Systems (FACTS), Asset Tracker System (ATS) and Material Distribution and Tracking System (MDAT) to maintain 100% custody of Agency Owned Accountable Property (AOAP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.

- Direct the accounting of new command procurements within the Financial Accounting Corporate Tracking System (FACTS).
- Manage a $177 million portfolio of highly technical, standard, and non-standard electronic assets.
- Establish logistical plans to allocate equipment and operational resources across the National Security Agency-Georgia (NSAG) and 706th MI Group.
- Adapt overarching government logistics policies to establish localized operating methods for the command.
- Execute the turn-in and disposal of unserviceable equipment to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) and through the Clean Sweep Program.
- Maintain operational relationships with civilian contractors and industry representatives to procure specialized equipment and services.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
