- Provide first-level technical support to end-users regarding desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and peripheral equipment such as printers and scanners.
- Respond to service requests promptly and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating when necessary.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Maintain and update hardware and software inventory.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new user accounts and equipment.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain systems and processes.
- Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Ensure security and confidentiality of data by adhering to company policies and best practices.
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Solid understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other productivity tools.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are a plus.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
