Receiving is the first element in the five-step process designed to lend order to the operations of your shop. Receiving Specialist Responsibilities: Ensures that equipment is received into the shop’s inventory within the same hour that it arrives at the shop Ensures that the equipment is properly accounted for during the entire repair process Provides the Pre-Inspectors and Scheduler with the required information to properly perform the pre-inspection and/or preventive-maintenance (PM) inspection/service.
