Kennel Receptionist
EXPERIENCE ONLY!
Needed to handle numerous tasks for boarding, grooming and doggie daycare. Applicant MUST HAVE excellent communication skills and must be able to multi-task. Job consists of answering phones, checking in and departing scheduled reservations, verifying vaccine records and checking in grooming dogs. Applicant must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
Applicant would also be expected to work in kennel if needed. Also, be available to work Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays. This Position also requires continual cleaning; vacuuming, mopping floors and kennels, wiping down walls and doors. Constant cleaning of dog waste from kennels and play areas, checking for soiled bedding, hosing down runs, washing dishes, doing laundry, keeping track of guest's belongings and food, emptying trash, bathing dogs as needed and supervising outside play time for guests and administering medications.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to follow a check list for each shift and complete duties as assigned. Computer skills necessary. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary. Applicant must be neat in appearance, have reliable transportation and be available for work shifts starting at 7AM-3PM or 3PM-7PM during the week, 7AM-5PM Saturday and split shift on Sundays, including weekends and holidays.
