Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and overall health status.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Assist with cooking nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities as needed.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
