Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with their automotive parts and accessories needs
- Key holder
- Maintain accurate inventory control using inventory management systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools
- Process sales transactions efficiently through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify required parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks
- Stock shelves, organize parts displays, and ensure the availability of high-demand items for quick fulfillment
- Assist with order fulfillment, ensuring timely processing of customer orders both in-store and online
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members via phone etiquette, offering knowledgeable advice on automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and product features
- Support store marketing efforts by promoting available services and special offers to enhance retail sales
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, sales reporting, and data analysis to optimize stock levels and improve operational efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive repair or parts sales departments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service procedures
- Proven skills in negotiation, sales management, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Familiarity with inventory management software such as CMMS or POS systems is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette
- Organizational skills that enable efficient stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control processes
- Experience in dealership environments or retail sales roles will be advantageous for success in this position
