Tyto Athene is searching for a Vice President of Business Development, Intelligence Community. We are seeking a solution-oriented hunter to identify, pursue, and close new business across Intelligence customers. This role will focus on building a targeted $500M annual pipeline and winning $125M per year in new single-award opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new single-award opportunities across the Intelligence community for our offerings.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline leveraging Tyto Athene’s prime contract vehicles.
- Develop strategic relationships with senior Intelligence customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Serve as a player coach for all Intelligence community efforts to drive capture efforts, including qualification, Gate reviews, win strategy, value proposition, and pricing (including Price-to-Win).
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure innovative, deliverable solutions.
- Close $125M in new business per year with your team.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (business, technical, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling new business into Intelligence Community customers.
- Proven record of winning at least 3 single-award opportunities valued at $75M each in the past 4 years, acting as the primary driver from identification to close.
- Strong background in selling enterprise IT, network engineering, cybersecurity, or SW Dev for Intelligence customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive “hunter” mindset with willingness to travel.
