Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to support a law enforcement customer in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
- Support and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems
- Responsible for server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
- Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- 8 years of general work experience and 6 years relevant “functional” experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master’s Degree may be substituted for 4 years of general work experience.
- Experience with supporting, operating and maintaining a 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure
- Must have a working knowledge of:
- Active Directory
- DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Group Policy
- Networking
- Microsoft Server 2012-2019
Desired:
- Virtual Datacenter experience supporting VMware vCenter and ESXi environments
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience supporting Citrix environments
- Windows Server Administration
- Windows Desktop Administration
- Citrix Workspace and Apps
- Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- Linux administration
- Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure
Clearance:
- TS/SCI Clearance Required
