Tyto Athene has an opening for a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Analyst located at Fort Meade, Maryland to support the Defense Enclave Services contract providing for the integrity and security of cyber systems and networks for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) global Information Technology enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Develops secure privileged access management architectures and procedures.
- Aligns solutions with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity standards.
- Supports audits, accreditation efforts, and compliance activities.
- Collaborates across teams to strengthen access control systems.
- Assesses the implementation of identified computer and network environment fixes such as system patches and fixes associated with specific technical vulnerabilities as part of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
- Guides the implementation of appropriate operational structures and processes to ensure an effective IA security program including boundary defense, incident detection, and incident response.
- Evaluates functional operation and performance in light of test results and makes recommendations regarding RMF decisions.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of IA security procedures and safeguards.
- Develops IA related customer support policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assesses the vulnerability of Automated Information Systems (AIS).
- Recommends and implements changes to IT systems in accordance with DoD directives.
- Develops policy and guidance, and establishes implementation and oversight plans to ensure compliance with RMF requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the position responsibilities.
- DoD 8570 Compliant for IAT Level II or above: Possess a CASP CE, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CND, CySA , GCED, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, or SSCP certification.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements.
- Understanding of Anti-Virus, HIPS/HBSS, IDS/IPS, Full Packet Capture, Network Forensics, and complex technical reports on analytic findings.
Clearance:
- Active Secret clearance required.
