Job Description
JOB TITLE: Fuel Truck CDL Driver DF01 - (Floater Driver)
PAY :$29.10 per hour
HOURS : 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 pm approximately, start time and end times will vary daily.
This is a Full Time / Year-Round position.
DAY OF THE WEEK : Monday through Friday, occasional weekend work, this will depend on the production schedule. Holidays And Weekends will be required occasionally.
JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is primarily responsible for the operation of a commercial motor vehicle and for the delivery of propane to contract grower poultry farms and dwellings, will be utilized as a floater driver for other locations in NWA live while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Will need to repair lights and perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed. Follow all DOT rules and regulations in addition to all Tyson Foods policies to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines, be willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. Position repetitively climbs in and out of the truck, general climbing, lifting (40 pounds occasionally), pushing and or pulling (as needed).
Complete all tasks assigned by management .
Will be Cross Trained to cover at other NWA Live facilities.
Priority consideration will be provided to qualified Internal applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations as well as external applicants will then be reviewed for consideration."
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of one year of verifiable driving experience, must have a valid Class A CDL issued from the state you reside in, possess a Hazardous Material Endorsement, must be able to pass a Criminal Background check to ensure Federally qualified before you can be placed in the position, will be required to attend a 40 hour basic LP gas course, Arkansas Propane License Preferred: will be required to become Arkansas LP Gas Board certified to install propane systems or deliver propane. Applicants must have a clear satisfactory CDL record and meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications, be willing to work flexible hours and complete the required paperwork, logs, etc. Must pass a DOT Drug test and physical and be subject to random testing, m ust meet the Tyson Driver Evaluation System requirements that involves but not limited to: Points, DUI/DWI Rules and Drug and Alcohol Testing, be willing to lift, push, pull 40 lbs., be willing to work in poultry houses and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment, be able and willing to sit/stand for 8 to 10 hours a day; be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop occasionally.
Will be required to complete all tasks assigned by management.
Rural Road Driving Experience Is Preferred, But Not Required.
Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered.
Only applicants who reside in Washington, Benton and Madison, County in Arkansas, McDonald County in Missouri, and Adair County in Oklahoma or within a 50-mile radius of Springdale Gas/Propane Department in Springdale, AR are eligible to apply.
BONUS : Currently Safety/ $5,000 Total Sign-On Bonus, $1,500 upon hire, $1,000 at 3 months and $2,500 at 6 months.
