What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper Labor BG01(1st Shift) Sedalia - MO position at Tyson Foods?
Job Details:
Under the supervision of the Environmental Manager, the grounds position is responsible for maintaining the grounds complex wide. Any job as assigned pertaining to grounds such as delivering mail, picking up trash, clean-up of spills, running of parking lot sweeper, daily clean-up of parking lots, outside waiting areas and smoke rooms as well as management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
Work outside in an environment where temperature extremes are common, often above 99 degrees during the summer and 32 or less in the winter. Work in environments that could be dusty, smoky or have foul odors. Work in environments where exposure to chemicals vapors could potentially be present. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to carry up to 25 lbs.
PPE
Specific to job task i.e. hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, steel toe boots, etc..
Potential for heat and cold stress so attire will also be considered based on time of year.
Specialized Training
Fire Extinguisher Training, LOTO Training, Man lift training, Fall Protection
Schedule:
Monday - Friday from 4:00 AM to 1:30 PM, required to work Saturdays
Pay Rate: $17.20/Hour
