Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, including overtime and weekends (occasional Saturday’s and rare Sunday’s).
Hours: Must be able and willing to work a rotating schedule between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flex as needed)
Pay: $25.50/hour plus a shift premium. This position is eligible for overtime pay and is paid weekly.
Working Conditions
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
- Documenting and calculating results accurately.
- Taking corrective action when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
- Handling additional assignments as requested.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, including overtime and weekends (occasional Saturday’s and rare Sunday’s).

Working Conditions
- Environment: Normal for a food manufacturing setting.
- Physical Requirements: Involves lifting materials and products up to 75 pounds.
- Safety Equipment: Use of steel-toed work boots, hardhats, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and smocks is required.
- Restrictions: Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills:
- Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
- Good problem identification and problem-solving skills.
- Math and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
- Must function well under stress.
- Must have flexibility to work where and when needed.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
- Must work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Must be able to work in wet environment
- Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling
- Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently
- Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
