What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fryer Opr PR04U, 2nd Shift, Gadsden AL position at Tyson Foods?
Job Details:
This position is responsible for maintaining proper cooking procedures for the fryer.
Job Synopsis: This person will inspect the fryer at start-up for proper sanitation cleaning and to insure it is together correctly. This person will operate the fryer based on product specifications. This person will clean out grease traps and drip pans. This person will change the oil if necessary.
TM must be able to work 5 days a week and can work up to 7. Shifts are 10 hours a day. TM stands or walks for long periods of time, must be able to bend, lift various amounts of weights. Could be up to 70 pounds. Pace of work could be fast. TM will have to reach, pull, push and use stairs at various times. Will have to work in heat, cold, high humidity, and wet floors. Noise level could be high in some areas of the facility.
All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Hearing Protection, Insulated neoprene Gloves, Face shield, Chemical Splash Goggles, Chemical Resistant Apron, Slip resistant Leather or Rubber boots. Full Length Pants No shorts, No tight fitting or Yoga style pants are allowed. Pants must not be tucked into boots. (Anytime a face shield is worn, splash goggles must be worn as well)
Fryer, Lockout/Tagout, Jack/Forklift training is required. Fire Extinguisher.
Location of pinch points (keep hands clear) in machines in work area; Slicers, Dumpers, Marinators, Mixers, Progrills, Formax, Breaders, etc. Positions/areas with chemical hazards; Incidental Ammonia leak, Incidental Carbon Monoxide exposure, Bleach Tanks, CO2 fill stations, Sanitation chemical rooms, Chemical use during sanitation such as Foaming, Sanitizing, Boil outs in Ovens and Fryers, etc. Hot surfaces near Ovens, Fryers, Progrills, etc.
