Job Description
- This position is responsible for operating the flat pack machine, and will set up the program, calibrating, and adjusting the machine parameters to produce the desired weights, cuts, and portions.
- The machine operator will perform regular checks on the resulting meat and portions to determine the machine performance and adjust the machine accordingly to produce product to specifications.
- The Flat pack Machine operator will ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
- The Flat Pack Machine operator will be notifying the supervisor if machinery should require maintenance, all while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months.
- Applicants from the following counties in Arkansas will be considered - Benton, Washington, and Madison.
- Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period.
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
