SUMMARY:
The FSQA Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality and food safety standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with product quality standards
- Verifying production paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Conducting production floor checks
- Performing GMP and housekeeping audits
- Delivering food safety training to Team Members
- Exercising judgment in setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with other teams
- Ensuring food safety, food quality, and regulatory/legal compliance
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA GMP, and SSOPs.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries, spreadsheets, etc. SAP knowledge preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; bilingual a plus.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
