Job Details: SUMMARY: The Supervisor Production plays a crucial role in maintaining high production standards, ensuring quality and yields, and fostering the safest working environment possible. This role demands a deep understanding and control of the production process, accurate record-keeping, and effective line maintenance and staffing. Key Responsibilities Production Management: Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. Ensure every position is filled before the start-up of the production line. Oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics. Ensure all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible. Quality and Safety: Ensure all workstations have passed USDA Inspection. Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings. Ensure accurate shipments, rotation of inventory, and proper coding of products. Team Leadership: Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members. Provide encouragement to Team Members to build the best team possible. Perform human relations functions such as training, retaining, and counseling on personal and professional problems. Operational Oversight: Oversee various processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems. Keep records of reworked or returned products. Provide continuous education on the importance of quality. Perform other responsibilities as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma; education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills helpful. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities. Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
