Job Details: Starting Pay $18.25/hr This position is responsible for operating a loader and helping maintain plant operations on a daily basis while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Essential Functions of the loadout operator include but are not limited to: Loading finished meal trailers and tankers. Performing inventory duties such as measuring silos and tanks. Performing preventative maintenance in work area. Keeping area clean. Sampling and testing of finished products. Assisting with QA silo and tanks cleaning schedules. Following instructions from supervision. Comply with plant safety policies. Muscular / Skeletal Requirements Must have good hand-eye coordination. Capable of carrying equipment, operating machinery in excess of 40 pounds. Must be able to operate power tools and equipment required to do landscaping. Must be able to climb silos and oil tanks for inventory duties. Must be able to communicate and get along with others. Must be able to tolerate climate changes from very cold to very hot. Must be able to reach, lift, and work overhead. Must be willing to work other shifts and learn other duties. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Need to have at least 6 months of experience in this field: receiving/preparation, floor operator/feather, feed, pet food, loadout, grinding room, and environmental. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
