Tyra Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Servicces Manager, Clinical Trials to join our Tyra Biosciences Dabogratinib team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and triage the patient flow into our various clinical studies evaluating dabogratinib in our SURF303, SURF302 and BEACH301 Phase 2 studies.


The position will be a vital point of contact for clinical trial sites, clinical trial coordinators, caregivers and healthcare providers, key KOLs, ensuring that they receive the necessary information, resources, and support throughout their treatment journey with Tyra. This position will work closely with the Tyra Advocacy team and Clinical Development/Clinical Operations to successfully conduct these clinical trials.


Must have experience with clinical trials and roles within the biotechnology industry in a clinical trials support, patient enrollment, or customer service role.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Inbox Management: Monitor and manage the patient inbox for inquiries related to dabogratinib clinical studies ensuring timely and accurate responses to all communications.
  • Patient and Caregiver Support: Provide empathetic and informed assistance to caregivers, and healthcare providers, addressing their questions and concerns regarding clinical trials, therapies, and disease information.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with advocacy, clinical operations, medical affairs, and other departments to ensure that patient inquiries are addressed comprehensively, accurately, and in accordance with Tyra’s protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Referral and Resource Coordination: Assist patients and caregivers in locating and accessing additional resources such as clinical trial participation, financial assistance, and local support groups.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all interactions with patients, caregivers, and/or HCPs, track inquiries, and maintain organized records in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Safeguard Patient Privacy: Ensure all PHI is restricted exclusively to your own role wherever possible, including instances where escalation of a patient’s inquiry is necessary to obtain additional information and abide by HIPAA guidelines by only sharing de-identified components of conversations with said patients.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively resolve issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate team members when necessary, ensuring patients and caregivers receive timely resolutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to improve processes, patient resources, and overall communication strategies, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.


Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or Life Sciences) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a case management, patient support, or customer service role within the healthcare or biotechnology industry.
  • Experience with rare diseases, specifically achondroplasia is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and experience handling sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to service delivery.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical trials, and healthcare systems is a plus.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills in clinical trials setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving patient needs.
  • A passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of patients with rare and difficult to treat diseases.


Pay Range and Benefits:

Base Salary Range: $127,157- $141,675 USD

Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, skills, education, training, and experience.
