Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Stanford, CA. As a Founding Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, prototyping, and developing hardware solutions for cutting-edge perception systems. You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to optimize performance, ensure system reliability, and manage the complete hardware development lifecycle. Responsibilities include circuit design, testing, and hardware optimization to meet the unique demands of mission-critical environments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Hardware Development and experience in Computer Hardware systems
- Expertise in RTL Design and knowledge in ASIC design
- Strong skills in designing and developing robust, energy-efficient hardware solutions
- Experience with compact, field-deployable, and rugged systems for demanding environments
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and solve complex engineering challenges
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Familiarity with edge AI applications and event-driven systems is a plus
