General Description

DUTIES
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of Quality Control Inspectors
- Provide direction, coaching, and ensure personnel qualification/currency
- Perform and oversee in-process and final inspections on aircraft maintenance and modifications
- Ensure compliance with technical data, contract requirements, and regulatory standards
- Verify completion and accuracy of inspection records and documentation
- Maintain control of quality records, logs, and document revisions
- Review and approve documentation prior to submission to customers/regulators
- Identify nonconformances and support corrective action and root cause analysis
- Support audits, audit readiness, and quality system compliance
- Coordinate with Production and Leadership on priorities and issues
- Ensure proper use of inspection tools and test equipment
- Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 12–15 years aircraft maintenance experience
- 5 years Quality Assurance/Control experience
- Prior lead or senior inspector experience preferred
- FAA A&P Certification required (IA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of AS9110, DCMA 8210.1, and FAA Part 145
- Experience interpreting technical data, drawings, and schematics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on elevated platforms
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and use precision tools
