What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to deliver infrastructure that improves safety, accessibility, and community connection. You will gain hands-on experience with:
- Roadway and highway geometric design
- Site civil engineering, including grading and drainage
- Utility design and coordination
- Supporting transportation and transit design packages for the State of Michigan, MDOT, and the City of Detroit
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring projects from planning through design and delivery

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
- PE license in Michigan or the ability to obtain PE within one year (EITs encouraged to apply)
- Experience in transportation, roadway, or site civil design
- Working knowledge of design software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
