What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Assembly position at Tyler Truss LLC?

2nd Shift 3:30 pm - 2:00 am Monday - Friday
50 hours per week
Base pay is $16.00 plus $1.25 2nd Shift premium.
Some perks are:
- $160.00 monthly attendance bonus for perfect attendance after 30 days.
- Quarterly drawing for perfect attendance to receive an additional bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling aluminum truss.
- Operate a drill press.
- Operate an overhead crane.
- Lifting aluminum truss repeatedly.
- Packaging (including boxing, banding, wrapping, using small hand tools, wrenches, hand drills) truss for orders.
- Prepares orders for shipment by grouping in designated area(s).
- Assists in loading and unloading trucks, as needed.
- Organize and sort stock.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Maintains safety regulation and compliance
Qualifications:
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of tools.
- Must be able to work in a variety of temperature conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
