- UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
Performs interventional radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Employees will be subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current enrollment in or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licensure with the Texas Medical Board and registration with ARRT within 90 days of completion of program or 90 days of hire at discretion of diretor.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Registered in VI within 2 yrs. of hire (recommended).
- Must be able to push, pull, lift heavy objects, stand, bend, reach, and stoop
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1-2 yrs. experience.
