Get to Know Your Team:
- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
- Performs nuclear medicine procedures on patients of all ages by utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Will rotate to the main campus, 5th street Imaging, and the outpatient cardiology Imaging department as required by the NM Coordinator.
- Ability to work independently with little oversight.
- Required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Call required.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an approved nuclear medicine technologist program.
- Knowledge and ability to operate nuclear medicine imaging. equipment/computer systems to perform all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) eligible within 90 days of hire date.
- TMB eligible within 90 days of hire date.
- Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date.
- HAZMAT Certification within 90 days of hire date.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Customer service experience.
- NMTCB Specialty Certification(s).
