- UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
- Asprogramcoordinator, the individual provides leadership, oversees patient care quality, ensures compliance with Level of Care standards, and manages daily operations.
- Responsibilities also include maintaining data integrity, developing program plans, and ensuring readiness.
- The role supports community outreach, represents the organization in regional meetings, and liaises with EMS.
- The individual collaborates on education initiatives, supports evidence-based practice, and contributes to staff development and professional growth.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- RN Active Nursing license
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- NRP
- ACLS (Labor & Delivery only)
Preferred Job Requirements:
- BSN
- 5 years in Clinical Specialty
- 2 years of Leadership
