Responsibilities
The Insurance Specialist independently manages insurance authorizations, claims processing, and patient registration while coordinating team activities, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies, and delivering exceptional communication and customer service to patients, providers, and insurers.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of medical and insurance billing in a hospital setting and or physician office, preferably in a multi-physician setting.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Hospital clerical or physician office experience.
