Senior Electrical Engineer
Full-time | Pittsburgh, PA
We're hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to serve as a technical leader on building projects. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys partnering closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for electrical engineering design on building projects
- Apply expert knowledge of local, state, and national building codes and life-safety regulations
- Coordinate design efforts across AEC disciplines to ensure integrated and constructible solutions
- Delegate and oversee work performed by project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff
- Mentor and develop junior engineers through training and technical guidance
- Act as a technical resource for project teams and clients
- Support projects through all phases, including construction administration and field coordination
- Participate in client meetings and technical presentations as needed
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of experience in electrical design and engineering in the AEC industry
- Active Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
- Strong technical proficiency in Revit MEP (required)
- Strong communication & organization skills
- Ability to work on site
- Authorization to work in the U.S
